Since 1986, Chuck Boucher has been developing his signature style, one that fuses the formality of the classical narrative with the expressive structures of the Abstract Expressionist movement of the early 1900's.

First published in 1987, Chuck has continued to create short stories and novels.  His work ranges from the gritty realism of Make Fast the Bitter End to the dark fantasy of Eternal Rose.  A novela like "Jonah, found in "Tales from the Hydelands," leaves the reader looking back the the event in their young lives with both nostalgia and introspection.

"Boucher treats color

like a science, yet he delivers a narrative like a contemporary folklorist."
